Artistic Philosophy
From Monet to Yenyi
"My creations don't merely capture images on the retina—they capture the soul that resonates with light and air in that moment."
Moved to Belize in 1995, attended Belize's St. John's College Art Department in 1999, and studied at SCAD's Painting Department in the US from 2003. After graduation, worked as a full-time watercolor and oil painter in New York. In 2006, participated in the Belize Contemporary Art exhibition at Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts.
This cross-cultural artistic journey taught me deeply: Light and shadow are not just techniques—they are the language of the soul. In the digital age, I choose to persist with traditional oil painting, because only oil painting's texture and layers can truly retain that moment of light and air.
After returning to Taiwan, I founded Yenyi Studio to find like-minded creators, to explore the true essence of light and shadow together amid the aroma of linseed oil.

Educational Mission
Master-Level Guidance
"I don't teach how to 'paint realistically'—I teach how to 'see.'"
In my club, we're not just teachers and students; we're creators sharing the same space and light.
I chose the "club model" over a cram school because true artistic cultivation requires accumulated time, space, and mindset. Here, there's no pressure to rush—only the serenity of exploring the true essence of light and shadow with a master.
Every creative session is a complete 5-hour flow experience. After the master personally coaches core techniques, the canvas and tranquility are returned to you. This is the exclusive privilege only Yenyi Studio can offer.
